Its A Small World was orginally created for the 1964 World's Fair in New York, which was such a huge success that it found a permanent home in Fantasyland, Disneyland. On opening day, May 28, 1966, Walt Disney invited kids from all over the world to bring a bucket of water from their native country and pour it into the water of the ride.
